"Dance Like There's No Tomorrow" is a dance-pop song recorded by American singer Paula Abdul for Randy Jackson's debut album, Music Club: Volume 1 (2008). It's Abdul's first single release in twelve years.
Song information
The song was written by Obi & Josh (known as DEEKAY), Lil' Eddie, Shae Patrick Skinner & Eritza Laues. The track was produced by DEEKAY & Randy Jackson. Additional vocal production by Oliver Leiber. Abdul sings in breathy vocals over a uptempo electronic beat. The song is Abdul's first single since Ain't Never Gonna Give You Up in 1996.
Release
The song was sent to american radio stations on January 18. On January 22 the digital single was released to iTunes and other digital download services. It is the 1st Single off Randy Jackson's upcomming album Randy Jackson's Music Club, Vol. 1.
Super Bowl Performance
Abdul pre-taped a performance that aired during the pre-game show for Super Bowl XLII. Paula performed a dance routine with several back-up dancers while Randy played guitar with the band. Although she did not sing live the performance still managed to recieve favorable reviews.
Music video
The music video was shot, January 21, 2008. Access Hollywood revealed Randy Jackson, Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest make cameos in the video and that she choreographed all her own dance moves. It has not been announced when the full video will be released.
