A reference from the PS2 game Xenosaga.
Ariadne was a sprawling planet home to a Zohar research facility, as well as one of the Zohar Emulators. Immediately before the start of Xenosaga, Commander Cherenkov was ordered, by Margulis, to infiltrate Ariadne and take a part in the Zohar Link Experiment. Little is known about the Zohar Link Experiment; however, it resulted in the dissapearence of Ariadne, and it's eventual transformation into the Cathedral Ship. The Woglinde was dispatched to retrieve the Zohar Emulator from the Ariadne region, but the Cathedral Ship dispathed Gnosis to claim it for the planet-turned-Gnosis.
