Vital signs are often taken by health professionals in order to assess the most basic body functions. They include:
- temperature
- pulse rate
- respiratory rate
Often along with these signs during physical examination the blood pressure is taken additionally.
As equipment needed is a thermometer and a watch. Additionally you may need a device for the blood pressure.
