Adam Rapacki (b. December 24, 1909 in Lwów - October 19, 1970 in Warsaw, Poland), was a Polish politician and diplomat.
In the years 1945–1948 he was a member of the Polish Socialist Party, followed by its successor Polish United Workers' Party. Until 1968 he was a member of the Politbureau of the Central Committee. For the years 1956-1968 he was foreign minister in the cabinet of Józef Cyrankiewicz. Previously he had been minister of seafaring and minister of higher education and research.
On October 2, 1957, he presented at the United Nations his plan for a nuclear-free zone in Central Europe (comprising Czechoslovakia, Poland, East and West Germany).
