Darko Trifunovic, MSL, PhD. is a lawyer based in Belgrade, Serbia and working as lecturer at the Faculty of Security Studies-University of Belgrade. He is a specialist in Terrorism and Security Studies, and was the author of several books and studies. , published by the Documentation Center of the Government of Republika Srpska's Bureau for Relations with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia.
Trifunovic was previously a diplomat 2001, (First Secretary) in the Foreign Service of Bosnia and Herzegovina at UN. In 2005 he was adviser to the Minister of Police of the Republika Srpska. Trifunovic has stated that the personal attacks against him are motivated by his research into Bosnian links to Islamic fundamentalism. In an interview with Greek Adnkronos International (AKI) in January 2008 Trifunovic states that he has received death threats from Bosniak Islamic radicals.
