Please stay off my talk page. It seems that I contested a page and now I am getting flooded. Maybe you should look into that. I have finished with the subject a while ago. However, I will take it to the next level tomorrow, as per wiki.

Well it takes all kinds

Yep I forgot the afl tag (again) oh well another day another tag :( SatuSuro 11:33, 1 March 2008 (UTC)

Melpedia Link

Thanks for giving me an explanation on why you removed the page, but delisting it because it only has 5 users, is that a valid reason? It doesn't mention registered user base as one of the reasons for removing a wiki. I've put in maybe 200 hours into the wiki, including photographing many streets and locations in the Melbourne CBD. I'd like you to perhaps browse the site a bit more, in particular the the allpages link, you'll see that it is not a new wiki, nor is it that small. KiwiTallGuy (talk) 10:48, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Ok, my bad, I've reread the external links article and perhaps it isn't of a criteria to be added yet. Strange, though, I have other wikis listed in Misplaced Pages that are of a smaller size then this site and I haven't added the links myself, other Misplaced Pages editors have. I guess I'll wait for that to happen in this case as well. KiwiTallGuy (talk) 10:52, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

re. Giggy got funny mouth

This made me laugh (out loud btw). You're a funny guy. Regarding your last RfA, I said I'd support some time in the future. Just letting you know your efforts around here of late have "earned" my support, whatever that's worth these days :) Until you chose to run again... Cheers. -- Longhair\ 11:14, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

Hehehe, thanks for that. It's always nice to be rewarded for enforcing core policy! I don't plan to run for RfA any time in the near future, mainly because I'm happy being a cynical promoter of moar swearing doing what I'm doing now (read; clogging up AWNB/A with my FxCs). But yeah, maybe one day in the future. btw. I noticed you haven't yet supported Riana's RfB. Maybe you should based on my commentary there ;) Cheers mate, dihydrogen monoxide (H20) 22:24, 3 March 2008 (UTC)

ANI thread

Can you come back to here if you have the time or interest please. I need to get some more views on what I think continues to be a complex case of conflict of interest by this editor - and whether this should just got to the Misplaced Pages Foundation now rather than us trying to deliberate it further. Thank you.--VS 10:34, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Crackerjack.jpg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Crackerjack.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Misplaced Pages articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Misplaced Pages:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Misplaced Pages policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Project FMF (talk) 19:55, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

Image:Mallboyfilm.jpg

I have tagged Image:Mallboyfilm.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. If you believe the image to be acceptable for fair use according to Misplaced Pages policy, please provide a rationale explaining as much, in accordance with the fair use rationale guideline, on the image description page. Some examples can be found at Misplaced Pages:Use rationale examples. Please also consider using {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:Image copyright tags/Non-free. Thank you. Image:DeathinBrunswick.jpg

I have tagged Image:DeathinBrunswick.jpg as {{no rationale}}, because it does not provide a fair use rationale. Thank you. Orphaned non-free media (Image:Bad boy bubby.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Bad boy bubby.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 19:24, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Mother Goose stuffed.jpg

Thank you for uploading Image:Mother Goose stuffed.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Misplaced Pages:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Misplaced Pages:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Misplaced Pages policy. Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 16:18, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

Pinball Links

Hey, Sorry I was unaware Misplaced Pages's restrictions on adding links to websites that you own. I personally feel that the information provided on the website is a worthwhile external link, and due to how often the information is updated hard to add to each Misplaced Pages entry. And due to the mass removal of the links yesterday after being on the encyclopedia for several months now without any discussion was malicious. Are you saying to re include each link it has to be discussed on the separate talk pages? Muddyboy (talk) 08:07, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

China Pacific Insurance

Please don't delete the title called "China Pacific Insurance". I am editing it now. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ricky@36 (talkcontribs) 08:24, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Please be patient and wait for a while. I found the administrators are abnormally quick to delete articles in English version. This is NOT rubbish title and don't worry. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ricky@36 (talkcontribs) 08:30, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Wow...

Thanks for the revert... they're mad at me! :) Jmlk17 09:11, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

No problems on the reverts, you guys seemed to have a fistful of trolls tonight. Glad I could help. Redrocket (talk) 09:35, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Rangeblock

I'm no good with them... but that loser needs to be rangeblocked for sure. Jmlk17 09:40, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Hm, perhaps I protected your userpage too early? If I knew you did a range block, I would have left it. Anyway, you can obviously unprotect your page whenever you want, cheers. Spellcast (talk) 09:48, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

No problem. Anything to stop a bot tagging it for deletion is always good! Spellcast (talk) 10:29, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

How did you pull that off? dihydrogen monoxide (H20) 11:22, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

...that's a scary thought. I think IRC has slowed my reflexes :( dihydrogen monoxide (H20) 11:24, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
I think User:Lankiveil/Not Dihydrogen Monoxide answers your question. Not mine, just a joke. Still...freakishly fast! Cheers, dihydrogen monoxide (H20) 11:28, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
Right place, right time, that's where the speed came from. Nothing more. No bots, only fingers here. -- Longhair\ 11:32, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
