Fred Hofheinz, (born 1938) an attorney in the law firm of Williams, Birnberg & Andersen was mayor of Houston, Texas, from 1974 to 1977.
Hofheinz's father, Roy, was mayor of the city in the 1950s.
Admitted to bar, 1964, Texas. Preparatory education: University of Texas, (B.A., M.A., Ph.D., 1960-1964); Legal education: University of Houston, (J.D., 1964).
