Snake Party is a political party formed to oppose the United States presence in Iraq.

Some Americans call the Snake Party fanatics and street gangs. Supporters of the Snake Party say it is an organized and legitimate paramilitary movement.

It is substantially comprised of former Baath Party and Saddam Hussein supporters.
