Sport recruiting website Rivals.com has ranked Evans as the No. 2 point guard in America, and reports that the colleges Evans is most likely to play are the University of Memphis, Villanova University, the University of Connecticut, and the University of Texas.

Evans was named the MVP of the 2008 high school McDonald's All-American.
