Rockstar Games is the umbrella name for video game development studios acquired by the game publisher Take Two Interactive.
Rockstar studios
- Rockstar North is the best known Rockstar company, based in Edinburgh, Scotland. They were previously known as DMA Design. They are famous for their Grand Theft Auto series.
- Rockstar Leeds was previously known as Mobius Entertainment.
- Rockstar San Diego was previously known as Angel Studios of Midtown Madness fame.
- Rockstar Toronto is Take Two's in-house development team, previously known as Rockstar Canada.
- Rockstar Vancouver was previously known as Barking Dog Studios. They are currently working on Bully.
- Rockstar Vienna was previously known as neo Software.
