Stephanie Adams (born July 24 1970 in Orange, New Jersey) is an American model, spirituality author, and the November 1992 Playboy Playmate, who continues to appear in Playboy. Adams also appeared as a centerfold in various international editions of Playboy magazine, in addition to being featured in Playboy as well as other media. Ms. Adams claims to be a direct descendant of President John Adams.Cite error: The <ref>

Adams was raised from birth by her aunts, who were former models. At the age of 16, her aunts encouraged her to start a career in modeling as well. Adams was signed first to Wilhelmina Models while completing her bachelor's degree at Fairleigh Dickinson University, and then to Elite Model Management by her ex-boyfriend John Casablancas.
Upon graduating college at the age of 20, Adams started applying her dual degree in business management and marketing towards her proceeds from modeling to become an avid financial investor in Fortune 500 companies. Eventually, Adams also became the first centerfold to become a LGBT spokesmodel and advocate in the LGBT community.
Shortly after her centerfold in Playboy, Adams met and married an Italian investment banker, who she later divorced. A few years later, the New York Post named her one of the "50 most eligible babes in NY" in 1998 and The Village Voice named her "Best NYC lesbian sex symbol" in 2004, in addition to gracing their cover as well as other LGBT magazine covers and advertisements.
In 2004, Adams taught a course at the Learning Annex entitled "How to Marry Rich: The Rich Are Going to Marry... Why Not to You?" New York Press reporter A.J. Daulerio gave the class a negative review.
On September 23 2006, Adams announced a $5 million dollar lawsuit against a NYC taxicab driver, the NYPD, and the city of New York after an incident on May 25, 2006. The driver was fined and had his license revoked by the New York City Taxi & Limousine Commission. A complaint accusing the police of assault was made at the Civilian Complaint Review Board and filed in state Supreme Court.
While maintaining her extensive career as a writer and professional model, Adams has stated that she dedicates most of her time now continuing to be a financial investor and philanthropist. Even though she still makes Playboy as well as non-Playboy public appearances and remains a socialite, Adams prefers to keep the details of her personal life private.
