Mostly in American politics and history, with some forays into organized labor and the ocassional other odd topic. I've been particularly active on material relating to left-wing politics in the U.S., both because I know something about it, and because I think my side can only stand to benefit from having accurate and unbiased information about itself freely available.

About me

I'm a political junkie and recent graduate of Hampshire College (B.A., concentration: "Democracy, Populism, and Social Change in the American Political Landscape", thesis: "Mousepads, Shoeleather, and Hope": 2004 and the New Politics of the Online Empowerment), returned to my hometown of Kirkland, Washington for the summer while I attempt to figure what to do with the rest of my life.

I don't remember when I first stumbled onto Misplaced Pages, but I don't think it was much before January 2003, when I created this account. I made a smattering of contributions starting then, but didn't really catch the bug until March 2004. At last count I was somewhere above 1500 2000 3000 edits.
