I have a B.S. in chemistry from the United States Military Academy and an M.D. from Texas Tech University.
I served in the U.S. Army as an Air defense artillery Officer with leadership positions in M-1097 Avenger and Patriot Missile units. I'm was a paratrooper. I also served as a Public Affairs Officer and picked up an interest in photography/photojournalism during that time.
I have an interest in health topics, particularly mastocytosis, toxicology and psychotropic effects of medicines.
Amongst my many hobbies is breeding fragaria sp. (strawberries).
