:Two things that are important, which I've said before. In biography articles we can't use pictures that are CD covers, posters, screenshots or any type of image created by some corporation. We can only use images that that basically you took yourself with your own camera. CD covers to illustrate a CD article are ok with the proper license of it being a CD cover and a fair use rationale for use in that article. In other words the image you are trying to attach to the Angela Chang article is not licensed for use in that article - don't keep trying to upload it and put it back. Second you are stating in the licence you are using that YOU are the owner of the image which is blatantly false. This is the main reason you are being blocked. We trust people to tell the truth about stuff like this which you are not doing. --] 01:47, 18 June 2008 (UTC) |

June 2008
Please do not add copyrighted material to Misplaced Pages without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to ]. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Misplaced Pages takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. Not only do you not own this image (it is owned by Kevin Mazur and is a wireimage photo), you lied about your ownership. Your release is, of course, invalid. The image has been deleted. Please read up on WP:IUP before uploading any more images. Blatantly lying about ownership is even more serious than uploading other peoples images without WP:FUC justification. NrDg 03:17, 10 June 2008 (UTC)
You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours in accordance with Misplaced Pages's blocking policy for You have been warned before not to lie about your ownership of other peoples work. Your releases are invalid. Read about our image rules in WP:IUP before uploading any more images. If you continue ignoring our rules about copyright you will be blocked for a longer period next time.. Please stop. You're welcome to make useful contributions after the block expires. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. - Please understand that copyrights are taken very seriously and uploading other peoples creative works and falsely claiming that you own them is not permitted and your continued doing this is why you are getting blocked. Sufficient explanation has been left on your talk page explaining the issues. Suggest you stop uploading images until you have read and understood our policies on image usage as previously explained to you. Also editing while logged out while blocked is block evasion, please desist. --NrDg 03:14, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
Whatever, but please stop blocking me!
You can delete the pictures I upload, but don't block me..
It is seriously annoying..!
Then how do I upload photos to Misplaced Pages then?
-User:Weirdo82
- You can contest a block by following the procedures in the block message. See WP:IUP and the messages on the upload page Misplaced Pages:Upload. Suggest sticking with album covers used in album articles and use the proper license. Don't upload images for living people. And especially don't falsely claim you own stuff you didn't take with your own camera. --NrDg 05:02, 14 June 2008 (UTC)
