The It can also be transported by planes such as the C-130 Hercules or bigger. The AN/TPS-75 is the primary transportable air control and warning (AC&W) radar used by the United States Air Force. It weighs about 8400 pounds. The AN/TPS-75 antenna is a slotted array antenna with multiple receive beams, adding the height-finding capability that makes the AN/TPS-75 a 3D radar. During transport, the antenna is folded in half to reduce it's size.
