Fair Use

BTW can you tell at afp.com http://www.afp.com/english/links/?pid=copyright&item=3 they have fair use of photos. I cant understand what they say. I want to use a photo of Bush on Air Force One looking at New Orleans.

I think this is the relevant copyright disclaimer as it is for AFP proper and not the RSS feed. I would be inclined to think it falls under Template:Copyrighted, however, that means you can't upload it since this is after May 19, 2005 so they will be deleting things. So, I doubt it can be used, but, if I find out anything further I will tell you. gren グレン 19:48, 1 September 2005 (UTC)
It might fall under Template:PermissionAndFairUse (you would have to link the AFP copyright page) since GFDL would govern third party aspects of this since it's a non-commercial license? I'm really not sure... but, I'm sure someone here knows.... gren グレン 19:52, 1 September 2005 (UTC)
I just saw Template:Verifieduse which leads you to Misplaced Pages:Fair use. You may be able to get the image approval there, since it's a fair use verification system apparently. gren グレン 19:54, 1 September 2005 (UTC)

Vandalism

I went in to revert Erwin Walsh's sockpuppet template in anon 172 userpage and saw you got there first. Just so you know, I don't agree with userpage vandalism, but the sockpuppet accusation is probably correct, except stating that User:Hipocrite is the main account was wrong. Anon 172 is a long standing troll I have been dealing with for months and his most recent vandalism in talk pages associated with the Hurricane Katrina situation was what got my ire: Although slight...I have a zero tolerance threshold for anyone violating those particular articles.--MONGO 20:11, September 3, 2005 (UTC)

Excuse me? Are you accusing me of vandalizing Hurricane Katrina? Hipocrite - «Talk» 03:49, 4 September 2005 (UTC)

Attack Mode

Just a heads up, he's arrived at Hurricane Katrina...
