The project began in the summer of 2006 and by the 2007 - 2008 school year, PDCMS opened 2 new buildings that were constructed, the school site had a brand new 2 story building housing 10 regular classrooms for 7th and 8th graders and it also had 4 science laboratories with new state of the art techonology and air conditioning. On the other end of the school, a brand new Multi-Purpose was built with new features and 2 classrooms housing a drama room and a choir room. The rest of the school was still going modernization with the main building classrooms. The new library is in the same place but its brand new and the administration was expanded and has more offices. 6th grade buildings were finished by December 2007 but teachers were moved out. The 35 portable classrooms that were left, were taking out and soon that place will have new basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts. PDCMS will go back in session September 2008, they'll be in a new school, a new Charter status and many new things will take place for the 2008 - 2009 school year. | |||
