Thanks for your encouraging me. I'll try to contribut to Misplaced Pages. BTW.. could you kindly help to be a permanent wiki page for "Myanmar Cupid"

Thanks for the welcome too!!!!!! Sheepunderscore (talk) 08:58, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
I also got a friendly welcome from you, thanks very much for it. I hope, that slowly I learn how to avoid sharpening the initially minor conflicts. I think that even if we disregard of the resulting articles, the necessity of making successful discussions has a positive impact on the society. We learn to cooperate to achieve acceptable common result in spite of our diverse point of views. prohlep (talk) 09:13, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the welcoming message, although I have been editing anonymously on Misplaced Pages for about more than a year. I am a registered user, but I prefer to be editing this way. I know what privileges registered users have, but I will only log in when those privileges are specially needed to work on some areas. 201.172.24.134 (talk) 19:17, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
Thanks?
Thanks for the welcome...I think? I've been here quite awhile...Dbutler1986 (talk) 08:31, 5 August 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks for the welcome! They can never come too late, as I was never originally welcomed (and anyway, most days I still feel like a newbie!) Looking at your talk page, it seems that you are having a bit of a tough week, with people jumping on you a lot for good faith reverts and over-welcoming, etc. Keep your chin up, and best wishes! Thank you i did'nt think there was the ability to edit pages untill i was looking around on the /"Girls with guns"/ on the hong kong action cinema section have a look at it most of the information on that is by me. oh and thanks for the complament. —Preceding unsigned comment added by INONOthing (talk • contribs) 06:55, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Thanks
Thanks for the welcome. I have removed false mixed ethnic information of Abdul Ahad Mohmand but somebody re-added it. Can you please fix this because I'm sure that Mohmand is only Pashtun. Tajik is a different ethnicity and there is no source mentioning him being Tajik.--Haroonijad (talk) 16:08, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- No problem. He may have thought it was vandalism. DougsTech (talk) 16:13, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
Re:Your Warning
It seems that you warned by vandalising the pageList of baseball nicknames, while I was actually reverting vandalism, and must have accidently left some portion unreverted causing a confusion. I'd appreciate if you'd remove the warning on my page. Thanks. LeaveSleaves (talk) 20:01, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
- It appears that you were attempting to revert some vandalism, while placing more back. I Misplaced Pages:Assume good faith with this and reverted my warning. Here is the revision http://en.wikipedia.org/search/?title=List_of_baseball_nicknames&diff=230260201&oldid=230260112 DougsTech (talk) 20:09, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
RE: Garniture...
Is there any particular reason that you reverted my CSD tag on Garniture, and then replaced it with your own? - Adolphus79 (talk) 00:56, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- Yes, I wanted to specify the reason for the tag, an A1. Your tag did not have any classification.DougsTech (talk) 00:58, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, it did, I had tagged is as {{DB-context}}, and you reverted this, then edited again, and tagged it with {{DB-nocontext}}... these are both the exact same tags, both fall under CSD A1... Please, next time double check what you are reverting... - Adolphus79 (talk) 01:00, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- Next time I will just overwrite your tag then.DougsTech (talk) 01:02, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- Why would you do that? It was already tagged properly... Please read WP:CSD#A1 for more information... - Adolphus79 (talk) 01:09, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- I disagree. The user was not given the reason on his talk page that it was under that category. My edit provided more details as to why the article was being deleted. Feel free to revert my edit if you disagree.DougsTech (talk) 01:12, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- I'm not going to argue with you, because you obviously have your mind made up. But either way, rollback should only be used to revert obvious vandalism... Please be more careful about using this feature in the future... - Adolphus79 (talk) 03:20, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- Rollback was not used in this instance, although the edit summary I use is the same for UNDO.DougsTech (talk) 03:30, 7 August 2008 (UTC)

AWB
I've approved you for AWB (although I might add, it won't do much good as an anti-vandalism tool). jj137 (talk) 04:25, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- Just a heads up, but some editors don't like AWB being used just to delete space like this edit. I believe there has been some cases of AWB being taken away from the editor who do that. Cheers --Patrick (talk) 15:33, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- I turned on the skip function in AWB to skip only whitespace edits. I did not realize that in some cases that was all it seemed to do. thanks for the heads up!DougsTech (talk) 16:21, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
AWB edit on "Scarlet Macaw"
- brazil → Brazil, macao → Macao
When a word is used as the second part of a binomial name it is never capitalised, so please change macao back. I need to look up if brazil nut is capitalised or not. Please be careful using AWB. Snowman (talk) 19:14, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- It was my understanding that ALL proper nouns were to be capitalized.DougsTech (talk) 21:51, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
- There are standard rules for binomial nomenclature. The second word of a binomial name is not capitalized even if this word would be a proper noun if used in a different context. I have had to tidy up after you and correct the capitalization on the macaw page. A similar mistake was made on the "Nuthatch" page recently by a different user, and you might like to study the edits there. Snowman (talk) 01:30, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
Eskimo
For some reason the spellchecker in AWB thinks that the correct spelling is Intuk but it should be Imtuk as per the source. Strange thing is that it's the second time in two days I've had to fix that. CambridgeBayWeather Have a gorilla 22:01, 7 August 2008 (UTC)
Typo fixing
Hey there.
Careful with the automated typo fixing; you mistakenly "corrected" a word that was spelled incorrectly on purpose in zoophilia; always double check the context before approving an AWB edit. — Coren 02:16, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
Monobook.js
I see that you attempted to copy my monobook.js into yours. It's also been deleted and protected for one month, as is your User:DougsTech/huggle.css.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 08:58, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- I now believe that you are harassing me. Before you even took any action regarding Huggle, you deleted my monobook.js. The reason you gave was "cleanup". You have NO RIGHT to be there. Luckily, I predicted this move, and have a local copy of what was there. I was able to restore most of what was there, then I looked at yours. You brought it upon yourself. What is an "abuse of .js". I am considering reporting this action to seek a de-admin.DougsTech (talk) 20:55, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- It looks like you also have a history of harassing other users, and abusing your adminship. http://en.wikipedia.org/search/?title=Special:Log&type=block&page=User:Videmus+Omnia DougsTech (talk) 21:04, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- What happened between me and Videmus Omnia has nothing to do with my deletions of your Javascript and Cascading Style Sheets pages. You have abused automated tools, and you copied my Monobook.js page, which contains tools that would not be of any use to a non-administrator. If you seriously think that my three deletions of your pages (the third of which was because I looked through my deletion log last night, found the page recreated, and redeleted it.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 21:25, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- And, as it seems you have been misusing AutoWikiBrowser, I am seeking that you have your access to that removed, as well.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 21:27, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- You are forcing me to run the monobook.js file locally using . This way, you can delete or alter the version all you want, and it still runs fine on my local computer. I suggest you stop harassing me, and other users as well.DougsTech (talk) 21:41, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- Access removed. Sorry, but please read through the instructions before using any auto-editing software. AWB has the potential to mess up hundreds of pages in a short time with the wrong options turned on, and you've had four complaints in the last day. Hersfold 21:31, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- No problem, Hersfold. I stopped using it yesterday, as it wasn't much use against vandalism.DougsTech (talk) 21:38, 8 August 2008 (UTC)

- How very clever of you to find away around the deletion of your file. As a result, you are now blocked for 72 hours. When your scripts are taken away from you, they are taken away for a reason, probably because you are abusing them and need to stop. You ignored this, and so now you will not be able to edit at all until you disable all of your scripts. Hersfold 22:51, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- Please also see User talk:SteveBaker#Stanley Meyer's water fuel cell. I'm rather concerned about this user's (mis-)understanding of policy, especially when combined with automatic editing tools permissions. - jc37 23:11, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
- Today is a sad day for Misplaced Pages. If admins like these continue like they are, the site will (and is) changing from its original purpose. Unfortunately there are far too many people here who aren't interested in making an encyclopedia any more. DougsTech (talk) 23:23, 8 August 2008 (UTC)
