Yu Yamada (山田優, born July 5th, 1984 in Okinawa, Japan) is an actress, ] and TV presenter.

Yamada graduated from Okinawa Actor's School. While working as a model for the Japanese fashion magazine CanCam under an exclusive contract, she also worked as a singer in the group "Y's Factory". Following the group's break up, she has mostly worked as a TV personality and actress.

She currently is the co-presenter of Formula One Grand Prix Racing in Japan. Her mother was the first "Miss Okinawa".

Yamada also appears in advertising for yoghurt and mobile phones.

She is 169cm tall.
