Kyrgyzstan is a country in Central Asia. It has borders with China, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan.

It was formerly part of the USSR. Its full name was Kirghiz Soviet Socialist Republic, and was commonly refered to as Kirghizia.
