Congo is the name of:

  • The Congo River in central Africa, or the basin of that river. The Congo and its subsidiaries run through the second largest rain forest area in the world, only the Amazon Rainforest being (much) larger.
  • In Vodun, a rather dull and lazy spirit was named Congo.
