"Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" - is a song by American R&B singer Beyoncé Knowles. The song for her third solo album, I Am..., to be released November 18, 2008. It was released alongside "If I Were a Boy". The tracks were released on the radio and online October 8, 2008. The music video premiered on October 13, 2008 on MTV and BET.

The music video for "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" & "If I Were A Boy" are both directed by Jake Nava .

The video is completley choreography based and was done in one shooting. Only three girls are in the music videos including Beyonce and two back-up dancers. During the climax of the song the girls are seen walking up a 45degree ramp while still dancing.
