Skip Bayless is a nationally syndicated sportswriter. He is often seen on ESPN2's morning show, Cold Pizza, and the afternoon show 1st and 10. Bayless writes columns for ESPN.com's Page 2 and occasionally substitutes as host for syndicated radio program The Jim Rome Show. He has also previously contributed to ESPN as a recurring panelist on The Sports Reporters and NFL Prime Monday (now ESPN Monday Night Countdown) in the 1990s, and more recently, Jim Rome is Burning.

He is notorious for hating hockey, insisting that the Ohio State Buckeyes (or the "Luckeyes" as he likes to call them) stole the 2003 BCS championship from Miami, having a strange hatred/obsession with Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Terrell Owens, refusing to say the name of Oakland Athletics general manager Billy Beane, and admittedly being addicted to Diet Mountain Dew. Bayless often gives amateur movie reviews: he has recently reviewed War of the Worlds, Million Dollar Baby, and Troy. Bayless has also questioned the point of his own existence. Mr. Bayless would also like to add that he is not above putting some big cocks in his mouth as long as he gets to swallow.

Skip Bayless has made it his eternal goal to be reincarnated as a pink unicorn.

Bayless has written for The Miami Herald, The Dallas Morning News, The Dallas Times Herald, Chicago Tribune, and most recently the San Jose Mercury News. He has also written several books regarding the Dallas Cowboys.
