Reuel Denney (April 13, 1913 – May 1, 1995) was an American poet and academic. He studied at Dartmouth College and taught at the University of Chicago and the University of Hawaii . With David Reisman and Nathan Glazer , he authored The Lonely Crowd (1950), a classic of American sociology.
