After ] killed Wade, it was revealed he was possessed by the ], and Damask used her powers to destroy him.

The Pale Riders are a Marvel Comics team, appearing in the the Age of Apocalypse alternate universe. They first appeared in X-Calibre #1.

The Pale riders comprised:

  • Damask, alternate version of the Black Queen.
  • Dead Man Wade, alternate version of Deadpool.
  • Danielle Moonstar, alternate version of Mirage.

They work for Apocalypse hunting down those who resist his rule. They were given the task of destroying the city of Avalon. On their way to the city, Damask killed Moonstar due to her constant torturing of Wade. Upon their arrival, Damask was so awe-struck by the city's beauty that she attempted to prevent Wade carrying out the mission. After Nightcrawler killed Wade, it was revealed he was possessed by the Shadow King, and Damask used her powers to destroy him.
