Dum Dums are made in about sixteen different flavors; nine or ten of these flavors are classic flavors; 5 or 6 are cycled in and out. The "Mystery Flavor," present in every bag of Dum Dums, is a combination of two flavors in the bag. So far the company has not released any data on how such flavors are chosen, although speculation remains. The only guess is that the flavors are random but some have taken to finding patterns in the flavors used.
