Farm to Market Road 3005 is a farm-to-market road in Galveston, Texas and Jamaica Beach, Texas as well as the area around these two cities on Galveston Island. It is 26.4 miles (42.5 km) long. It covers almost the full length of Galveston Island.
East and West ends
FM 3005's East end is at Texas State Highway 87 and Western end at the tip of Galveston Island. As it crosses the toll bridge it is known as Bluewater Highway. Once the bridge ends the name is changed to County Road 257.
Other names
From Texas Highway 87 to about Cove View Blvd it is signed as Seawall Blvd, as it runs alongside the Galveston Seawall. Near Cove View Blvd where the seawall ends, signs for the FM begin to come up, but still the road is mainly known as Termini Rd-San Luis Pass Rd until the end of the FM.
