Marjorie Yang Mun-tak (Traditional Chinese: 楊敏德) (born 1952 in Hong Kong with family roots in Shanghai) is a non-official member of the Executive Council of Hong Kong. She is the chairman of Esquel Group, the world's biggest cotton shirt maker, and the independent non-executive directors of HSBC, Swire Pacific and Novartis AG. She is a Hong Kong Member of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.

Biography

Yang obtained Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Masters Degree in Business Administration from Harvard Business School. Her first career, after graduation, was in investment banking. In 1995, after her father, Yang Yuan-loong, was diagnosed with cancer, she returned to take the helm of Esquel, the business founded by her father in 1978. She was once married to Dickson Poon, the chairman of Dickson Concepts.
