Healing Care (ヒリング・ケア) is a fictional character in the Gundam series, Mobile Suit Gundam 00.

Character biography

Healing shares the same DNA with the leader of the Innovator Ribbons Almark making them genetic twins and understands him well. It is known that she is very fond of him as she is jealous of Setsuna F. Seiei for getting Ribbons attention. She has been shown to delight in battle, not even caring for the safety of her allies and even going so far as to commit fratricide, and is also quick to anger (a contrast with Ribbons despite being Twins), with her being infuriated by the 00 Raiser's persistence. She also likes to make fun of other people.

History

Healing briefly appears at the epilogue of season 1. She makes her official appearance at the A-Laws party in which she shoots at Tieria, who had pulled his own gun out on Ribbons. After Tieria's escape, she tells Ribbons that she wants a debut as a mobile suit pilot, claiming that she is useful only for combat purposes. She is eventually sent to join A-Laws to capture the 00 Gundam, piloting a new version of the GNZ-003 Gadessa. She uses her Gadessa's GN Mega Launcher to oblierate several Katharon carriers and mobile suits before engaging in combat with Setsuna and the 00 Raiser, matching up evenly against him. However, her Gadessa's right arm is still severed in the engagement after being distracted by Nena Trinity, and the 00 Raiser leaves behind a furious Healing.

She is later seen in the company of Divine Nova, musing on Bring getting shot down, and later with Revive and Divine on the deck of an A-Laws mobile suit carrier commenting on humans. She is also a part of the force led by the Innovators assaulting the damaged Ptolemaios, and Healing squares off against both Tieria and Allelujah along with Revive and Divine before being forced to retreat due to a coup d'etat within the Federation.

In episode 18, She along with Revive had a brief conversation with Andrei and Louise about how Andrei murdered his father to get his promotion and joke about how well they match each other. Later, she and Revive are sent to trace the coordinate of Ptolemaios 2 and assist in attacking it. Healing briefly squares off with the 00 Raiser in a Garazzo, wanting to avenge both Bring and Devine. However, Setsuna, more focused on finding Louise, chooses to blast off both of her Garazzo's arms, forcing her to retreat. She is later seen in the company of Arthur Goodman, who mocks her failure in the aftermath of the unsuccessful operation, also saying that it was a mistake to give her and Revive permits, to which Healing responds that Arthur should leave the next operation entirely to the Innovators.
