Details of banning

This user, JarlaxleArtemis, has been permenantly banned from all Wikimedia projects.

Reasoning behind banning

There are multiple reasons behind JarlaxleArtemis's permenant barring from editing Misplaced Pages and all Wikimedia projects.

  • Personal attacks
  • Trolling
  • Disruption
  • General misbehavior
  • Several temporary injunction violations
  • Harrassment
  • Stalking (particularly against those who were key in his ultimate banning)
  • Sockpuppetry
  • Violation of WP:DICK
  • Vandalism
  • Googlebombing
  • Baiting
  • Wasting of administrator time and resources
  • Impersonation

To date, JarlaxleArtemis has been guilty of creating over seventy-five vandalism-only accounts on several tens of wiki projects (both Mediawiki and non-Mediawiki). He has impersonated administrator User:Linuxbeak by creating accounts under the name "Linuxbeak" and systematically vandalizing other projects. If you are an editor or an administrator of a wiki that seems to have been vandalized by an account by the name of "Linuxbeak", please report it immediately to both User_talk:Linuxbeak and WP:AN/I. Be sure that you sign both posts as well as giving the following details, including:

  • Your wiki
  • The time of the vandal attacks
  • The server log of said attacks (if possible)
  • How you may be contacted
