The ], a ] known for the banks it licensed, being directly linked to large scale banking fraud in many parts of the world, claims to have a lease granting them use of the Solkope Island for 99 years. The lease was obtained from Hiagi Apao, who claims to be the sole sovereign owner of the island. Although at times there has been a movement advocating secession away from Fiji, the island is still recognized as territory of Fiji.

Solkope is a small island off the southern coast of Rotuma in the Fiji Islands. It is considered to be part of Rotuma along with the several other minor islands: Hatana, Hofliua, Solnohu, and Uea.
