The Red Album will be the fourth studio album by rapper The Game. While recording his previous album, L.A.X, he frequently stated that he will retire after releasing the album, but he's recently stated he will be releasing The Red Album in late 2009.

Background

During his US LAX Tour, The Game said 'I'm not gonna' lie to y'all, I'm in the studio secretly working on my fourth album'. In an interview with Power 101.1 The Game supporting a beard in the style of Rick Ross, said he doesn't have a title for the album yet, and he expects to be 'coming in September or something like that'.

Maestro was the first one to refer to the album as 'The Red Album', saying "The Game was in ATL recording and selecting tracks for his upcoming release 'The Red Album.' He picked new tracks I played AND already had some loaded and ready to go!". Maestro also mentioned several guest appearances on the album, "Other member's of Atlanta's production elite made appearances too; I heard crack from Tha Bizness, Drumma Boy, Hit Boy, Eric Sermon, and newcomer Rico Law, with engineer Ralph Cacciurri presiding on the SSL. The Red Album is gonna be a problem. Keep your fingers crossed...crossed tight...tighter than Wayne's pants ;) "

The Game has been working on his next album, titled, The Red Album. He's been working on it since the beginning of the year, while he's been on tour. Sources say he will have no featured guest. Not a single one. He's worked with producers of the likes of Kanye West, Just Blaze, DJ Khaled, J.R. Rotem, Jelly Roll, Cool & Dre, Nottz, Scott Storch, The Neptunes, DJ Khalil, will.i.am, Swizz Beatz, & Hi-Tek. Since the beginning of the year he's recorded over 100 songs for his new album. The Red Album should hit stores in November.The first single "I'll Find You" Produced By Kanye West should release in the next couple months. He's planning on having 2-3 singles before the album actually releases.

On The Game's official Twitter page 'Compton Trash', he states that he has been is going in to the studio with Timbaland, DJ Premier, and production duo Cool & Dre. He had also previously stated on his Twitter page, that he was writing to a Kanye West beat."
