Melissa Gayle Lingafelt (born December 20, 1989) is a beauty queen from North Carolina who has competed in the Miss Teen USA pageant.

Lingafelt won the Miss North Carolina Teen USA 2006 title on her first attempt on November 1 2005 in High Point, North Carolina. She was crowned by Miss North Carolina Teen USA 2005 Nikkie Groat. Her sister titleholder was Samantha Holvey, Miss North Carolina USA 2006.

On August 15 2006, she competed against 50 other girls for the title of Miss Teen USA 2006 in Palm Springs, California and placed first runner-up to Katie Blair of Montana. This was North Carolina's first placement at the pageant since Ali Burr made the semi-finals in 1997. Lingafelt also won the Miss Photogenic award, for the delegate chosen by a public internet vote who most "exemplifies beauty through the lens of a camera".

As her contribution to the State Gift Auction that was held to benefit the Angel View charity, Lingafelt gave a helmet signed by all 43 Nascar Nextel Cup drivers. The helmet was sold on eBay for over $5,000, the most ever raised by a Teen USA delegate at the state auction. Lingafelt is from Concord, North Carolina. She has a 22 year old brother named Kyle and a 10 year old sister named Mackenzie. Lingafelt is a home-schooled high school student who enjoys traveling the country, web-designing, make-up artistry, dancing, and singing. At the age of 12, she was chosen to sing "The Star-Spangled Banner" for President George W. Bush during his Presidential visit to Charlotte. She also sang the national anthem during the two-week Nascar racing season at Lowe’s Motor Speedway.

Lingafelt is connected dating actor/musician Drake Bell, whom she first met while he was a judge of the 2006 Miss Teen USA pageant where she placed first runner-up. She can also be seen in Bell's music video for his song "I Know". Lingafelt has been occasionally seen touring with Bell, singing backing vocals in his band. Lingafelt and Bell attended the Hollywood Christmas Parade and the 2007 Kids Choice Awards together. She also had a cameo in the 2008 comedy film College, where Bell played the leading role in the film.
