Beverley Owen (nee Ogg, sometimes credited as Beverly Owen) (May 13,1937 in Ottumwa, Iowa) is a classically-trained American actress perhaps most widely known for having played the role of Marilyn Munster during the first season of The Munsters (a role she disliked, and only accepted out of contractual obligations to Universal Studios). When Beverley Owen left the popular camp TV series, actress Pat Priest took over the role of 'Marilyn Munster', until its TV-run's end in 1966.

Beverley Owen, probably best remembered as the original 'Marilyn' on The Munsters' first 13-episode 1964 season, was distraut over the separation-by-distance of her then-boyfriend Children's Television writer Jon Stone, who was living on the east coast. Because of this, by late 1964 Owen was released from her contract, and left her Hollywood TV career to join and eventually marry Jon Stone in NY. The couple later had two daughters, Polly and Kate, before they divorced a decade later in 1974.

Beginning in 1971 she appeared for two years on Another World, after which she retired from television and chose to perform exclusively in live theatre.

A student of Sanford Meisner, Owen now lives in upstate New York, where she frequently appears with the Cambridge theatre company, The Theatre Company at Hubbard Hall. She received an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan. She continues to pursue her studies in Early American History, for which she earned her master's degree in 1989.
