• I think you did great work on the article, I just felt some of the language was a bit much. Also, I was not aware of WP:LEADCITE, so I've learned something new (however in my readthrough there are still a few things that don't seem supported by the body: maybe I missed it, though). If I may offer my thoughts, Giano...if you decide to leave, we will be poorer in your absence. If you return, we will we be enriched. In short, you have the power to make our online experience a happy or dismal one, given your continued presence or intentional absence. I sincerely hope you will be a part of this community. I echo what Pastor said. In case anything said by me was one of the straws causing you to feel this way, I want to clarify that when I said I didnt like you I only meant for your occasional vehement attacks. Ive read a lot of your work and you come across as having a really appealing personality, a wonderful sense of fun, a beautiful sense of style. Im not asking you to return if you dont think youll enjoy it here anymore, just hope youll see that you were deeply appreciated here even by folk who disagreeing with you. And as the oblivious bystander who didn't see it coming, I too want to say that I'll be waiting for Giano III to return from his sabbatical. Which is a polite way of saying you need a swift kick in the pants if you really plan to leave permanently. Unblocked with edit summary of "baited and good reason to be frustrated with a broken system (RfA). Both xeno and giano should have been sent to the corner. Both were wrong but blocking every wrong move never solves problems. This block was just, the civility was inexcusable, however th". The message got cut off, apparently there is a limit. I came here to talk about the Almanac de Gotha ( I saw your reply on my talk page and checked out your article list: I'd heard of you but never come across you before) and 2 jaw-dropping hours later, after reading a shitload of wtf at WP:AN/I and WP:BN I still don't know what happened to you. I'm slightly astonished - but not really - that despite being referred to several times in the FT plagiarism re-hash chatty, no-one thought to contact me. Probably because I'm not in any class of cabal and so irrelevant. No-one wants to fathom why the likes of me (never been on IRC ever, nor bothered with WP:AN other than the one occasion I got hauled in: when I tore into some prick on WP:RFA and got hassled for deaming him a "pissant troll" - til it turns out he was exactly that). Nope, sometimes I wander over to WP:RFA because I'd be WP:CRAP at it, me, and I like to see who is deamed to not be so. I opposed FT: I did my resarch enough to satisfy myself one way or the other and the rest- I aren't bloody surprised. The first 2 articles of hers I checked out seemed pedantically well-written and so the alarms went off a tingle when I came to the one whose quality convinced me of FT's lack of article-building credentials. Proposal

I proposed something here: http://en.wikipedia.org/Wikipedia:Administrators%27_noticeboard/Incidents#Ok_so_should_Giano_come_back... for if you do return. Take it as coming from someone who generally supports you and would like you to remain if you wish. Remember also that life was never meant to be fair - I don't like sanctioning someone when they are only part of the problem, but I think it would be best for all. ON the other hand if you don't return, good luck to you. I think someone suggested writing a book. You should - you'd be pretty good at it. Viridae 12:37, 21 May 2009 (UTC)
