Edward Mendelson (b. 1946) is a professor of English and Comparative Literature at Columbia University. He is the Literary Executor of the Estate of W.H. Auden and the author of several books about Auden's work. He is the editor of Auden's complete works, and has also edited books by or about the works of Thomas Pynchon, Thomas Hardy, George Meredith, Arnold Bennett, H.G. Wells, and Anthony Trollope. He is a contributing editor of PC Magazine.
