Admins: If you see me make a logged action that you think I should not have done, I will not consider it wheel-warring if you undo it without asking for my permission. However, if I marked the action as being done after running a checkuser query, or as part of a sockpuppet investigation, you should ask me or another checkuser before undoing it. In any case, if you do revert one of my actions, I would appreciate it if you tell me that you did so. Thanks!

Lincoln mk9 page

this is about the lincoln mk9 page. Don't you think that would of been funny if someone read that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.168.108.79 (talk) 04:06, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

The User PowerComputer

Look at the sockpuppet history. He created a new account, which I was trying to stop. Maybe you could consider permenantly blocking this and the sockpuppet accounts. see http://en.wikipedia.org/search/?title=User_talk:PowerComputer&diff=291447744&oldid=291447690 for more details.

Harlequin Shopping Centre Talk Page

Hello, I blanked the page as the image 'Image:Logo wht.gif' was removed in November 2007, so I gathered that it was no longer necessary on the talk page, as I was hoping to appeal for help with improving the page on the talk page. I hope you can see my reasoning. Thanks for you time. George5210 (talk) 18:04, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Good job.

Thanks for the corrections to the vandalism by 210.3.39.32 to the rms article. --Grandscribe (talk) 20:03, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

hat link

It wasn't out of the blue. Because I paused and let Taivo keep his edit that doesn't mean that it was right. Multiple times in the arbitration I've said the hat link is wrong. Take a look at the last talk post of 1111tomica to see what I'm talking about. Shadowmorph 21:43, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

ethnic slurs used by a user

Not long ago you issued this warning: . Could you please warn this user, User:Makedonij about this edit of his ? I really didn't understand what he wanted to say because of his poor English. I never called him Skopjan. Shadowmorph 21:51, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

Why do you want me to issue a warning for something you yourself don't even understand? (I don't either, but that's not the point) If neither of us understand him, what do you want me to warn him for? You warn him. J.delanoyadds 22:02, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
I know he used lots of highly offensive ethnic slurs. I can't warn him of a block because I don't have the power to block him. Anyway I see another user (Laveol) has warned him.Shadowmorph 22:14, 27 May 2009 (UTC)

I need some advice

I've been monitoring and cleaning the Combat Arms for a long time now, and I'm wondering: In the list of gameplay modes, is it worthy to mention modes that are generally not available, for example the "Snowball fight" whic hseems to be only accessible during the Christmas holidays? I've been doing what I can to read up on wikipedia's rules, and I'm slowly getting the finer details down, but I need some help here. Eik Corell (talk) 13:03, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Well, if you can find a source to back it up, you could probably add a sentence or two if you want. I'm probably not the best person to ask about this; I mostly fight vandalism, not write articles. J.delanoyadds 15:38, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Weymouth F.C. - eh?

I was the person who made this edit, although I'd accidentally failed to log in so was recorded as User:81.159.57.7. That aside, though, I have no idea why you consider it unconstructive: to me it's a simple, uncontroversial copyedit, IP or logged in! Loganberry (Talk) 17:14, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Hmm. I think I must have seen the word "legend" and assumed someone was trying to add themselves. Sorry. J.delanoyadds 17:16, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
Heh, true enough. Actually I'm not really happy with the (over)use of words such as "legend" in this type of article, as they do often tend to the POV side and actually mean "anyone remotely well known locally", but didn't want to do anything controversial to a subject I didn't know much about. Loganberry (Talk) 17:22, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Excuse me sir

I recently received a message from you, half a second after editing (minor edit) an introduction of a non-protected article (at least, there was no mention of it). It stated that my edit was unconstructive and thus vandalism.

You CANNOT decide in half a second whether my edit is constructive or not, not without discussing it first in the discussion page as I did:

I read ALL the discussion page which was very divided about the need to change the introduction. As the subject divided equally the users in two, I decided to count the sources quoted from dictionaries and encyclopedias and found that there were 19 sources in favor of an introduction change to 1 opposing it.
One of the users proposed an alternative introduction that was seconded by 4 users including himself to 2 users opposing it (all of this can be checked at Talk:Americas) which is why I decided to replace the existing introduction by the new one approved by the majority.
And as I said, half a second after I edited the page, I received your message and my edit was reverted with no further explanation regardless of the following Misplaced Pages Policies:
"Revert vandalism on sight, but revert a good faith edit only as a last resort. Edit warring is prohibited."
"Any good-faith effort to improve the encyclopedia, even if misguided or ill-considered, is not vandalism. Even harmful edits that are not explicitly made in bad faith are not vandalism. For example, adding a controversial personal opinion to an article once is not vandalism."

This being said, as I cannot edit the article because of the threat of being considered a vandal, hopefully you will change the article to the version "18:32, 28 May 2009 Sinekonata (talk | contribs) (74,791 bytes) (→(User)'s views on introduction text)" or please explain why. --Sinekonata (talk) 20:57, 28 May 2009 (UTC)

Bike For Three! deleted

Hey there. My new article, Bike For Three!, was speedy deleted (not by you). I'd like to work on it further, though I can't access the deleted content. Can you get it for me? Thanks, -M.Nelson (talk) 02:20, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Bourbon

Cite error: There are <ref> tags on this page without content in them (see the help page).hello, I am new to wiki and am not sure about editing ettiquete etc. I just had a comment to suggest for your bourbon article. To be able to Put the name bourbon on the bottle, the whiskey must be made in Kentucky. That is why even though whiskey's such as Jack Daniel's are sour mash, they cannot put the bourbon name on the bottle. http://www.evanwilliams.com/about_faq.shtml?article=MjgyN3N1cGVyMjgyNHNlY3JldDI4MzE%3D Danielsm3 (talk) 17:40, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Carlos Micháns

Dear Nick,

Thanks for your message. I notice, however, that your editing of my entry has not improved it. On the contrary, it has reinserted wrong information which I had painstakingly corrected myself. I don't quite understand why you did this (I am new to Misplaced Pages), but I am not particularly happy about it!

Thanks.

Kindly,

Carlos (Utrecht1953) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Utrecht1953 (talkcontribs) 20:08, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Check this out

So I was checking out Tom DeLonge's wiki page and edit history out of fear there was vandalism, and surprise, surprise, there was. Anyway I checked out one vandal's records and for some odd reason he wasn't reported, unless he was and he deleted it. Here they are Max3091

Also, sorry to be a pain, but can Tom be locked again? A flood gate of vandals came back -_- MySummerJob (talk) 22:08, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

WWE Backlash

Should the edits from 116.71.42.223 be deleted from the log? If that is a real phone number (the IP is from Pakistan and I am unfamiliar with the Pakistani phone system) then that could be a privacy violation. Right now that info is still available to anyone who checks the edits. TJ Spyke 18:08, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

I was going to, but that page is huge, so I got an oversighter to revdelete them. J.delanoyadds 19:13, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

I never made a change to Daniel Craig's page, in fact I dont think I have ever been on it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.216.221.56 (talk) 20:47, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
