Andrew John Hurley was born on May 31, 1980 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He is the drummer of the Chicago based band Fall Out Boy.

Previously, Hurley played drums in the Chicago metalcore band Racetraitor, and in 1999 played drums on Vegan Reich's final LP. He is a vegan, and leads a straight edge lifestyle (or a lifestyle of abstinence in relation to tobacco, alcohol and recreational drug use).
