::With regard to your endorsement of the main article naming, I wondered if you were aware of the requirement in ] that things should be termed by "the common English language name as found in verifiable reliable sources"? "Republic of Macedonia" is neither the common English language name nor is it (by a very long way) the predominant term in reliable sources, the vast majority of which use simply "Macedonia" (per ). It would be helpful if you could consider this point, and if you continue to favour the option you supported, if you could explain why you believe NPOV should be set aside in this instance. --

  • I blank my talk page, if you are interested in previous posts please hit the "history" button (there's nothing exciting there).
  • If I deleted your comment from my talk page it was not meant to insult you, I do this for every comment on my talk page, starting from the moment I created my account.
  • If you left me a warning and I removed it that's a sign that I read it (per WP:BLANKING).
  • Why? This is my choice and since I didn't find any rule against it I will keep doing it. It's also a sign that I am unwilling to get into personal discussions, if you have questions about my edits please post a comment in the talk page of the specific article and I will gladly respond. I think this is the best way to communicate because every editor of the article should be able to read and participate to any discussion about the article, if you post in my talk page few people will be able or willing to follow and/or participate.
  • Again, if you have any comment about any of my edits, please leave it in the talk page of the article that I edited, not here. Thanks.

Macedonia article naming

I noticed your comments earlier on Misplaced Pages:Centralized discussion/Macedonia/main articles. With regard to your endorsement of the main article naming, I wondered if you were aware of the requirement in WP:NPOV#Article naming that things should be termed by "the common English language name as found in verifiable reliable sources"? "Republic of Macedonia" is neither the common English language name nor is it (by a very long way) the predominant term in reliable sources, the vast majority of which use simply "Macedonia" (per ). It would be helpful if you could consider this point, and if you continue to favour the option you supported, if you could explain why you believe NPOV should be set aside in this instance. -- ChrisO (talk) 15:48, 26 June 2009 (UTC)
