Why Redrose64?

The Red rose is the badge of the Duchy of Lancaster; my family mostly come from Lancashire. I was born in 1964, and the number 64 seems to come up in my life more often than the law of averages might suggest. It is also an exact power of 2, and therefore significant to a computer programmer.

I have always lived in England, presently in Didcot but previously at Stonehouse, Corby, Telford, Bolton, Blackburn and Barford St. Michael.
