Rodolfo Valentin is a New York City hairdresser, born June 22, 1944 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The hairstyles used by Rodolfo include hair coloring, regenerating healthy hair, a tailored haircut, custom made wigs and the Hair Infusion.

Early life and career

At a young age, Rodolfo Valentin was a fashion model and was recruited for fashion shows in Europe by hairdresser Alexandre de Paris, known for his work with Grace Kelly, Wallis, The Duchess of Windsor, and Elizabeth Taylor. Back in his native Buenos Aires, Valentin has worked with Argentine celebrities such as Nelida Roca, Maria Concepcion Cesar, Susana Gimenez, Nelida Lobato, Ambar La Fox, Vanessa Show, Graciela Borges, Patricia Dal, and the Italian Sophia Loren.

Current activity

During the early 2000s, Rodolfo expanded opening his second salon on Madison Avenue in New York. The press named him as a preeminent New York society hairdresser, styling the hair of actresses such as Cathy Moriarty, the socialite Margo Catsimatidis, wife of John Catsimatidis CEO of Red Apple Group, the American gossip columnist Claudia CohenSusan Hess,a philanthropist and a socialite,wife of the CEO of Hess Corporation, Caroline Kimmel, wife of the world famous billionaire filmmaker Sidney Kimmel, the Princess Maria Beatriz de Saboya, daughter of Humberto II, the last King of Italy, The countess Luann de Lesseps from The Real Housewives of New York City, among others.Also Rodolfo Valentin damaged a lot of hair in his natal Argentina, Italy and New York.

His expertise has recently been featured in Forget the Facelift. , a book dedicated to beauty by celebrity dermatologist Dr. Doris J. Day M.D.

Rodolfo Valentin is the recipient of the hair coloring techniques award . and his New York City salon, the "New York salon and spa" is the winner of the Grand Design Award.

In the year 1994, his expertise in the processing of hair coloring and bleaching hair for hairpieces and wigs was noticed as far away as India. The Department of Economic Affairs of India, hired him to teach his unique techniques.

Since 2006 to the present, Rodolfo Valentin has been consistently rated with "10 out of 10" by the readers of New York Magazine. and rated 5 gold stars by Citysearch.

Rodolfo Valentin supports several charity organizations such as the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, Alzheimer's Association Rita Hayworth, Hellenic Times Scholarship Foundation, and his own organization created in memory of his mother Sofia offering free hair prostheses to cancer patients through his Sofia's Hair 4 Health foundation.
