:::blocks are meant to stop abuse on wikipedia, not punitively punish people. the person i supposedly 'baited' is blocked for a month for his abuse, so there is clearly no imminent threat of me further baiting him. therefore, this must be a punitive block. i have no interest in playing anyone's games by pretending otherwise. thanks for the attempted help, regardless. the blocking admin claims in the ANI thread that any admin can come in and remove the block. I expect this to happen. if not, i will wait out the block and then create a new account, abandon this one, and go back to acting however i want. it will not be a new account to avoid scrutiny, but a new account to disconnect myself from the stigma this abuse perpetrated against me has created. i'll continue acting exactly as i have, but with a new name. per sockpuppetry rules, this is acceptable behavior, as long as i abandon this account. ] (]) 17:41, 17 July 2009 (UTC) |

{{unblock|blocks are meant to stop abuse. the user i 'baited' is currently blocked for 1 month for his abuse. so, unless there is some threat of me being unblocked and instantly going to the baited user's page and baiting him more, my block should be lifted. unless my block is punitive. the only possible reason i could still be blocked, without obvious any threat of me going back to being abusive immediately, is for punishment. }} |
