Selman Stërmasi was distinguished of great managerial abilities. Selman Stërmasi is a former player, coach and president of KF Tirana in the '30s and '40s. Selman Stërmasi returned to his homeland Albania in the beginning of the '30s after finishing studies in Rome for Physical Culture. He contributed as a player and then as a coach and even president of the club in those years to 8 national titles (even though two of them (the "war championships are not recognized today). KF Tirana of that time will be remembered for his memory as well as the memory of other exceptional footballers such as: A.Karapici, Sh. Ndroqi, I. Dashi, Xh.Kashari, S. Lleshi, H. Begeja, H. Korça, M. Petrela, A. Hobdari, R. Gurashi, I. Gjinali, F. Janku, Riza Lushta, Naim Kryeziu, etc.
