"The Meaning of Love" is the second single from Pop Idol winner Michelle McManus. The song was released on 26 January 2004 and reached number 16 in the UK and number 29 in Ireland. The song lasts for 4:24. It is on her debut album The Meaning of Love.
Chart Performance
The song debuted at #16 in the UK. In its second week it fell to #38. In its third week it left the top 40 and charted at #53. Its fourth and final week it dropped to #64. In Ireland the song debuted at #29 before falling to #39 in its second week. It then fell to #44 where it then droped out the Irish charts.
In both the UK and Ireland, it spent 7 weeks on both charts, 4 in the UK and 3 in Ireland.
