In 2002 Coy was arrested and went to court. They were claiming that he had sexually molested a 9 year old girl while she was at a sleep over at Coy's home with his daughter Carly. In court the 9 year old girl said it could of been a dream. Im not sure if its real. Then after talking to her mom said no it was real. Everything she claimed happened were in the movie's that coy let her and Carly watch. The judge and jury watched the movie's it was true. There was no evidence what so ever. Also there were 7 women that went to court against him saying that he had slept with him when they were younger. All stating they were either 12-14. After no evidence was being shown one girl said now that I think about it I wasn't 14 I was 12. Many wonder how on earth do you get mixed up by 2 years on something that emotionally scars you. The all white jury and judge used his prior conviction against him and without any evidence sent him to 45 years in prison. Since then there have boycotts and protest outside the prison where Coy had been incarcerated not asking rather demanding he be released. Also they have had parades throughout his home state of texas celebrating the career success of SPM. Showing there loyalty, respect, encouragement, and belief in him. In the eyes of many the only crime he really convicted was being brown and making something of himself. As Coy is one of the few hispanics to truly make it big. He is on appeal and is expected to be released in December of 2009 to early/mid 2010. | |||

---|
Carlos Coy (born 1971), better known by his stage name South Park Mexican, is an American rapper, and company founder of Dope House Records. His stage name is derived from the South Park neighborhood in Houston, Texas where he was raised.
In 2002, Coy was convicted of aggravated sexual assault of a child and sentenced to 45 years incarceration, and is currently serving his sentence at Powledge Prison in Palestine, Texas.
Early life
SPM was born to Arturo Coy, a former Marine from the Falfurrias community in Brooks County, and a woman who dropped out of high school to marry. The marriage ended three years after Coy's birth. Coy's sister, Sylvia, described herself as his "mother-sister". Coy attended various elementary schools, before entering the music magnet program at Welch Middle School. His family moved from southeast Houston to South Park, and Coy attended Woodson Middle School. Rapper Scarface (real name Brad Jordan) also attended Woodson. Coy attended Milby High School until he dropped out in 1987 while still in ninth grade. Coy obtained a GED and enrolled in San Jacinto Junior College for a business associate's degree but failed all his classes there. He then worked at a chemical plant for minimum wage, but after being again unemployed he worked as a door-to-door perfume seller and eventually a crack cocaine dealer.
