Idhu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam is a forthcoming Indian Tamil romance film written and directed by Selvaraghavan, starring his brother Dhanush in lead role alongside playback singer-turned-actress Andrea Jeremiah. The film is slated for a theatrical release during Valentine's Day on February 14, 2010.

Production

The film was originally launched in 2006, with a photo shoot being held for Karthi Sivakumar and Sandhya, however since then, the film failed to take off and Selvaraghavan and Karthi did the film Aayirathil Oruvan in place of it. The film, back then, had Arvind Krishna as the cinematographer and Yuvan Shankar Raja as the music director.

The film restarted on November 7, 2008 when a photo shoot with Dhanush and Andrea Jeremiah was held. Following his split with his original technical team, Ramji and G. V. Prakash Kumar have taken over the responsibilities of being the cinematographer and music director respectively.
