F1 2010 is an upcoming video game based on the motor racing series with the same name and the 2010 Formula One season. It is the sequel to the 2009 video game based on the same series. It will be released in 2010 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Microsoft Windows platforms. The game was confirmed by Codemasters on April 23, 2009. The game engine is based on the Ego Engine that Codemasters used on both the Colin McRae: Dirt and Race Driver: GRID games.

The game will feature an arcade and sim mode, including customizable driver aids, online racing and full weather effects.

  • All the teams, drivers, and tracks from the FIA 2009 Formula One season.

  • Both an "arcade" and "sim" version; which will include realistic laptimes.
  • Customizable driver aids.
  • Laser scanned tracks.
  • Track surface model that will simulate rubber build up, marbles, stones, water etc. This will have both physical and graphical effects.
  • Running off the drying line in the wet will give you less grip and cool your tyres.
  • There will be wind and sand effects.
  • The game will not be moddable.
  • There will be crowd effects.
  • It will be possible to spray champagne after a race victory.
