Heinz Nawratil (born 1937 in Zauchtel, Moravia) is a German lawyer, legal author and human rights scholar. He is particularly known for his work on expulsion of Germans after World War II, but is also for his widely distributed legal textbooks aimed at law students, lawyers and lay people alike.

Biography

After the World War II Nawratil settled in Bavaria, West Germany, where he grew up in Miesbach. He studied law, earned a doctorate and worked as a civil law notary. He has written legal textbooks which have been printed in over a million copies. He has also written for the Institute for Historical Review, which has been described as the "world's leading Holocaust denial organization.
