Facts
Embryo stem cell research requires scientists to destroy living human embryos in order to harvest stem cells.
Embryo stem cell research is completely unnecessary, as stem cells taken from other sources have proven more effective in treating diseases.
Every human life starts at the moment of conception. Every tiny human embryo has a unique genetic blueprint that has already decided if they will be a boy or a girl and if they will have blue, green or brown eyes. These are facts that some researchers and politicians are hoping we forget.
Every time stem cells are removed from a human embryo, a unique human life is ended.
The fact that human embryos are being sacrificed without their consent is even more alarming when alternative, life-affirming forms of stem cell research are already providing cures to many human ailments.
