Errol Brown MBE (born in Kingston, Jamaica on November 12 1948) is the singer, songwriter, and front man of the successful British band Hot Chocolate. Amongst their biggest chart hits were "You Sexy Thing" and "Brother Louie". The latter was a cover version of the US band Stories original.
The group Hot Chocolate were produced by UK music business legend Mickie Most and recorded on his RAK Records label.

The 1990s saw Errol slip into the background, spending his time in the bridge clubs of Esher, while his teenage daughters went to school at the Guildhall School of Music, and Lady Eleanor Holles School in Hampton, London. It was the use of the Hot Chocolate single "You Sexy Thing" in the 1997 movie, "The Full Monty", that brought Errol out of retirement.

In 2003 Brown was appointed as an MBE for services to popular music. 2004 saw him presented with an Ivor Novello Award for outstanding contributions to British music. Errol now lives in the Bahamas, with his wife of over 30 years, Jeanette.
